How to reset your LG fridge and run diagnostics with a test button on the PCB board. If you have problems with LG linear compressor refrigerator not cooling or not working at all, you can put it in the test mode with a reset switch on the main control board, which consists of inverter and motherboard. Resetting LG refrigerator may fix some problems, or a number of error blinks on the PCB board will point you in the right troubleshooting direction.

ATTENTION - removing the cover from the PCB board may void the warranty, and exposes electrical components which can be dangerous. If you don't feel comfortable working with electricity, please don't do this test.
